Hello fellow language learner !

We wanted to reach out and give you an update on the state of our app. As you may remember, we officially launched Amikumu on April 22, 2017, initially only supporting Esperanto. Since then, we have expanded to support many more languages and have significantly grown our community.

Last year, we were shocked to find out that our third party messenger service would be shutting down within a matter of weeks. We immediately sprang into action and worked hard to replace the messenger system, ensuring that our users would not be disrupted.

Amikumu is more than just an app. It's a way to meet people who share your passion for language and culture. We believe that connecting with others who are learning the same language is a powerful tool for language acquisition and personal growth.

As we ourselves continue to grow, we are thrilled to be an official sponsor of the upcoming Polyglot Gathering in Teresin, Poland, on June 14-19. This is an incredible opportunity for language enthusiasts to come together, share their knowledge, and learn from one another. We are honored to be part of this event and are looking forward to meeting many of you there.

We are also excited to announce the official opening of the Esperanto-Stacio on May 14, in Halbe, only 30 minutes outside of Berlin, Germany. Some members of our team will attend this event, and we encourage all Esperanto learners to check it out. The Esperanto-Stacio is a cultural center in the heart of Esperanto-speaking Europe, and we are proud to support their mission.
